The Catholic Legacy Society

Members of The Catholic Legacy Society of the Diocese of Colorado Springs
at Bishop Sheridan's 3rd Annual Induction Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church on November 6, 2015

The Catholic Legacy Society honors those who have named their parish, a Catholic school, Catholic Charities, or other ministries of the Diocese of Colorado Springs as a beneficiary in their will or trust, retirement account, charitable gift annuity or charitable trust, life insurance policy, or through the establishment of an endowment fund.

The Diocese is grateful to acknowledge these special benefactors during their lifetimes. And, in conjunction with our mission, this special society provides an opportunity for benefactors to make their philanthropy a perpetual legacy for themselves and an example for their families. It also creates an infrastructure of support that makes our parishes, schools and ministries stronger, sustainable and better equipped to reach future generations.

If you have named your parish or favorite ministry of the Diocese of Colorado Springs in your estate plan, please let us know. We want to thank you for your generosity and welcome you into The Catholic Legacy Society. Click here to download The Catholic Legacy Society Enrollment form.

Catholic Legacy Society members receive special benefits, such as:
  • They are remembered each week at a Mass offered for their intentions,
  • They receive a Catholic Legacy Society lapel pin,
  • They are invited to the annual Catholic Legacy Society Induction Mass and luncheon. During the Mass, Bishop Sheridan will present new members with a beautiful medallion in appreciation for their future gift,
  • The most important benefit Catholic Legacy Society members receive is the satisfaction of knowing that they are supporting the mission of the Church for generations to come.
